Notice on the Sale of Sunrise Tickets for the Xiejiaping Scenic Area in Asilixi

Dear tourists, travel agencies, and tour guides:
To enhance the sunrise‑viewing experience, maintain orderly visitor management, and ensure guest safety, the Asilixi Jiacaiping Scenic Area will implement a dedicated sunrise‑viewing operation from August 14 to October 8, 2026. The following notice outlines matters related to ticketing for the East and West entrances:
I. Regulations Regarding Sunrise Tickets for the East Gate
1. Pre-order method
Day‑trip tickets must be purchased in person at the East Gate Visitor Center between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. one day in advance, with a daily limit of 300 visitors.
2. If the number of advance reservations for a given day falls short of 20, the scenic area will not operate the cable car and will instead provide shuttle bus service.
II. Relevant Regulations for West Gate Sunrise Tickets
1. Pre-order method
In-person ticket reservations for same-day admission are available from 4:30 to 5:30. For tickets reserved for the following day, please visit the West Gate Visitor Center in person between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. one day in advance.
2. Operational Services
To enter the scenic area’s core zone, you must purchase a sightseeing bus ticket.
III. Relevant Matters
1. Group bookings through travel agencies do not qualify for partner discounts; tickets must be purchased on-site at the standard rate.
2. Online tickets are not valid for same-day entry; once sold and verified, no refunds or exchanges will be granted.
3. The scenic area is at a high altitude with significant temperature differences between day and night; please bring warm clothing.
4. Entry into undeveloped areas is strictly prohibited; please ensure your personal safety and protect the environment.
5. The scenic area is situated at a high altitude, and the weather can be highly unpredictable. The quality of sunrise views may vary depending on meteorological conditions, and the scenic area does not guarantee the appearance of the sunrise.
