Notice from Guizhou Asilixi Special Equipment Management Co., Ltd. on the Opening of the Scenic Area Cableway for Practical Training and Examination Preparation
2026-06-24
To support candidates preparing for the passenger ropeway technical certification exam in completing hands-on practical training, our company plans to make the resort’s ropeways available for their practice sessions and provide free technical guidance and examination assistance. Details are as follows:
I. Company Overview
Guizhou Asilixi Special Equipment Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) is a wholly state-owned enterprise under Guizhou Asilixi Culture and Tourism Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. The Company currently employs 35 technical personnel specializing in the management of passenger ropeways and other special equipment. With well-established capabilities in the entrusted operation and management of special equipment, in addition to managing its own facilities—such as the ropeway at Jiaozhiping Scenic Area and the rail‑guided sliding track on Ertaipo Grassland—the Company also undertakes the entrusted operation of numerous key scenic‑area special‑equipment projects both within and outside the province. These include the detachable ropeway at Longguanshan Scenic Area in Hejiang County, Sichuan Province; the towed ropeway at Funiu Mountain Ski Resort in Luoyang, Henan Province; and the towed ropeway at Shiqian Ancient Hot Springs in Guizhou Province. Backed by extensive operational experience, a robust technical framework, and comprehensive hands‑on training scenarios, the Company can provide candidates preparing for certification with a standardized, systematic, and multi‑scenario practical training platform.
II. Talent Demand and Employment Prospects in the Passenger Cableway Industry
As the national cultural and tourism industries upgrade and mountain transportation and the ice-and-snow economy rapidly expand, the passenger ropeway sector continues to grow, leaving a persistent shortage of specialized technical personnel.
(1) Industry Scale
As of the end of 2025, more than 1,200 passenger ropeways will be in operation nationwide, with an average annual addition of 50 to 80 new installations. These facilities are primarily located in 4A- and 5A‑rated scenic areas as well as major ice‑and‑snow mountain tourism destinations, reflecting stable and sustainable industry growth.
(II) Talent Gap
The national ropeway industry employs approximately 120,000 people, of whom only 42,000 hold technical positions such as operations and maintenance, electrical control, inspection and repair, and safety management, leaving a skills gap of 15,000 to 20,000 professionals.
(3) Shortage Positions
In 2026, industry hiring demand will remain robust, with the largest shortages concentrated in S1 passenger ropeway maintenance, S2 passenger ropeway operator, and Special Equipment Safety Management (Certificate A) roles. Nationwide, the gap for frontline certified operations and maintenance personnel alone is estimated at 8,000 to 10,000, indicating a severe supply‑demand imbalance.
(4) Salary and Benefits
Certified apprentices earn a monthly salary of 3,500–6,000 yuan; skilled operations and maintenance technicians earn 7,000–10,000 yuan per month; and technical core personnel can expect 10,000–18,000 yuan monthly. The industry offers standard benefits including the five social insurances and one housing fund, with meals and accommodation provided, plus holiday allowances. Positions are stable, career progression is clear, and longer tenure translates into higher pay.
III. Specific Arrangements for Hands-On Training
