Top women’s basketball teams from renowned domestic universities like Tsinghua and Beijing Sport University have traveled far to compete, joined by elite professional squads from the Southwest. On the court, fast breaks, crisp three-pointers, tenacious defense, and seamless passing and cutting all take center stage. The players move with fluid grace, showcasing their strength and determination in post‑play battles and during rapid transitions between offense and defense. Every jump shot and every steal‑and‑fastbreak sends the crowd into a frenzy. With clash after clash of powerhouse teams, the suspense remains at its peak—five consecutive days of nonstop high‑octane action, offering fans the chance to enjoy world‑class women’s basketball right on home soil!

A top-tier powerhouse in the CUBA women’s division;

Champions of the 19th, 20th, and 24th CUBA Chinese University Basketball League! Runners-up in the 22nd and 23rd national championships!

Beijing Sport University

2026 SCBA National Basketball League for Sports Universities – Women’s National Champions;

2025 Capital High School Basketball League (Class A) Champion;

In 2026, finished third in the Northeast Division of the CUBAL Second Division and was awarded the Sportsmanship Award.

Having repeatedly reached the national top four in the SCBA, it is a powerhouse women’s basketball team among China’s sports universities, consistently producing a wealth of talent for the WCBA and the Chinese national youth teams.

Southwest University of Political Science and Law

A powerhouse women’s basketball team from Chongqing’s universities, it has reached the semifinals of the CUBA Chongqing regional tournament and finished as runner-up in the Chongqing University League.

Awarded the Sportsmanship Award in the CUBAL Second Division.

Xi’an Jiaotong University

CUBAL Division I’s Northwest Region has claimed five consecutive championships, dominating the women’s basketball scene at universities across the northwest.

Advanced to the national top eight of CUBAL for three consecutive years;

The team finished third in the inaugural CUBA Women’s Basketball Championship and also claimed third place in the 2009 National University Women’s Basketball Super League, making it a long-established powerhouse.

Wuhan University of Science and Technology

A traditional powerhouse in women’s college basketball in China, it claimed the inaugural CUBA national championship and has won numerous titles in national collegiate competitions, nurturing several national team players such as Miao Lijie and Gao Song.

2025 SCBA National Collegiate Sports League, Women’s Division – National Champion;

They have repeatedly finished as runners-up and third-place in the Hubei division of CUBAL, and have consistently advanced to the Southwest Regional Tournament.

Sichuan University

Fifth place nationwide in the CUBAL Second Division;

National top eight in the CUBAL Division II, and multiple champions of the Sichuan regional tournament;

Champion of the Gonga Cup, the top-tier tournament in Sichuan Province, in the school category.

Guizhou Normal University

A powerhouse women’s basketball team from a Guizhou‑based university, it has repeatedly finished as runner-up in the Guizhou Provincial University Basketball League and competed in the CUBA Southwest Division, earning the CUBA “Spiritual Civilization Team” award.

The team secured the runner-up title in the girls’ basketball Class A at the Guizhou Provincial Student Games and has consistently ranked among the top tier in provincial competitions, known for its tenacious spirit and strong teamwork.

UName Yunnan Women's Basketball Team

A leading local women’s basketball club in Yunnan, it is dedicated to advancing the sport in the province by organizing casual games and intensive training sessions, hosting the Kunming leg of the Pink Storm Women’s Basketball Tournament, and bringing together a community of talented female basketball enthusiasts. With a dynamic and tenacious style of play, the team stands as a flagship representative of amateur women’s basketball in Southwest China.

Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences

A powerhouse women’s basketball team from Chongqing’s universities, they have clinched the Chongqing City League title multiple times and advanced to the CUBAL National Top 16 in 2026, showcasing fearless determination and the vibrant spirit of collegiate women’s basketball.
