Full Moon of the Mid-Autumn Festival—Enjoy Hezhang! As the Mid-Autumn Festival coincides with the Axi Lixi Torch Carnival, a festive gala blending delectable cuisine, vibrant song and dance, and bonfire blessings will soon take place at Shuanghe Park in Hezhang County.

Mid-Autumn Moon-Watching Long-Table Banquet (6:00 PM–7:00 PM)

As night falls, a long banquet table stretches out in an elegant row, with every authentic Hezhang‑style delicacy making its way to the plate. This grand long‑table feast is thoughtfully designed around the theme of the full moon during the Mid‑Autumn Festival, featuring a completely revamped and refreshed menu. To accompany the meal, Hezhiying cherry wine makes its debut, while seasonal specialties such as Yunlu Roasted Chicken and Walnut‑Flavored Mooncakes take center stage.

As the long-table banquet drew to a close, the dazzling cultural gala officially began. Brilliant lights illuminated the night sky over Shuanghe Park, while a diverse array of performances took turns on stage, using song and dance to tell the story of Hezhang.

The song-and-dance performance “Welcome to Hezhang” warmly welcomes guests, extending Hezhang’s heartfelt hospitality to every audience member present. Classic hits such as “Ayi Mo,” “Borrow Five Hundred Years from the Sky Again,” “The Moon Rises,” and “Asilixi” followed one after another, their moving melodies echoing beneath the moonlight. A fashion show and a dazzling array of magic and acrobatics delivered unforgettable visual delights.

The gala was packed with one surprise after another, featuring thrilling prize draws and a steady stream of generous gifts. With a diverse lineup of stage performances, promotions for locally‑made specialties, and round after round of lucky raffles, the event was brimming with highlights and kept the energy buzzing throughout.

Blessing Bonfire Carnival (9:00 PM–9:30 PM)

A bonfire of blessings and a festive celebration, under the moonlight we gather to pray for reunion.

The highlight of this event arrived: a blessing ceremony followed by a lively bonfire celebration. Gathered around the blazing fire, participants made their Mid-Autumn wishes. As torches flickered and the moonlight bathed the scene in soft glow, people joined hands, circling the flames to sing and dance. Amid the dancing flames, they entrusted their hopes for family and life, savoring the unique romance and fervor of Axi Lixi. Moonlight, firelight, and joyful laughter blended together, leaving behind an unforgettable memory of the Axi Lixi Mid-Autumn Festival.
