This event aims to fully showcase Bijie's rich ethnic cultural heritage and its unique summer tourism resources. That evening, the main venue at the Asilixisi Ertaipo Scenic Area was exceptionally beautifully decorated. Yi ethnic-style decorations and brilliant lights shone together, creating a strong festive atmosphere for the opening ceremony.

The opening ceremony began with a welcoming long table banquet with strong ethnic characteristics. Guests savored local delicacies such as Yelang mutton hot pot and Yi-style Tuo Tuo meat, experiencing the warmth and hospitality of the Yi people. Afterwards, a solemn welcoming ceremony showcased the unique cultural etiquette of the Yi people, allowing visitors from afar to appreciate the charm of Hezhang's ethnic culture.

The opening ceremony's artistic performance was novel and unique, using a real-scene drama format that became the focus of the entire event. The evening gala was divided into three chapters: "Summit of Guizhou Mountain," "Mysterious Yelang," and "Asilixisi." National-level intangible cultural heritage programs such as the Yi bell dance, original Yi love songs, and characteristic dances were performed one after another. The first chapter, "Summit of Guizhou Mountain," used ancient songs to sing of the Yi people's millennial heritage, representing the eternal covenant between the Yi people and nature; the second chapter, "Mysterious Yelang," showcased the spirit of bravery through war songs and horns, engraving the backbone of the nation; the third chapter, "Asilixisi," used joyful songs and skirts to build a golden bridge of national unity, singing the contemporary anthem of the Chinese nation as one family. These programs vividly showcased Hezhang's profound cultural heritage, earning thunderous applause and cheers from the audience.

After the gala, the carnival reached its climax—a thousand-person torch parade and a ten-thousand-person bonfire party. Thousands of torches were lit, converging into a bright river of light. Tourists and residents held torches, following the procession and feeling the fiery power of the torches. Afterwards, everyone gathered around the blazing bonfire, singing and dancing, fully releasing their enthusiasm, pushing the atmosphere of the entire event to its peak, creating a 100℃ carnival heat in a cool 21℃ summer night.

The Asilixisi Tourism Area will also launch a series of exciting activities, including folk activities (equestrian performances, ram fighting, folk song duets), a "Peak Showdown" free fighting invitation tournament, regular bonfire parties, and characteristic long table banquets, continuously providing rich experiences for tourists and residents. The current Asilixisi is in its peak tourist season. The nearby Asilixisi Jiucunping ten-thousand-mu wild chives are already budding, and are expected to enter the initial flowering stage at the end of July, and the peak flowering stage in August and September. The Jiugushu Hot Spring Resort's hot spring water is "smooth" and rich in various beneficial trace elements, adding a new choice for tourists' health and leisure.

In recent years, the Asilixisi Tourism Area has actively promoted the deep integration of culture and tourism.
